Learn first-hand what it’s like to be a sea turtle scientist! Meet Dr. Vanessa Bezy, a National Geographic Explorer and sea turtle biologist with ten years of experience working in the area. Then set out for a walk on the beach to look for sea turtles, learn how to identify turtle tracks, and learn how to collect data from a life-size model of a sea turtle and mock-nest.

Join us to learn all about the local watershed and our water quality program with this hands-on activity. Follow along as we visit several locations, watch a demonstration of our procedure, and collect a water sample yourself. Then, we’ll visit our lab to prepare the samples for incubation.
