DAY ONE: BOAT EXCURSION
& SEA TURTLES
After breakfast, head out on a boat excursion to observe sea turtles in the Pacific Ocean. Snorkel on a secluded beach. Enjoy a Costa Rican lunch with a fantastic view. On your way down the coast, learn about the Ostional National Wildlife Refuge. Visit a sea turtle hatchery. Enjoy a free afternoon in Nosara.
DAY THREE:
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY
Enjoy a relaxing Costa Rican breakfast. Afterward, learn about technology used for scientific research and initiatives to protect the Refuge. Enjoy the sites in Nosara in the afternoon before our goodbye dinner at La Luna restaurant in Playa Pelada. Enjoy a Costa Rican dinner at the day's end.
DAY TWO: CONSERVATION & SEA TURTLES
Take a morning stroll down the beach. Learn how to identify tracks to monitor sea turtle nesting activity with a local sea turtle project. Enjoy a free afternoon in paradise. At night, observe nesting turtles first-hand during a walking tour at Ostional Beach.

THE ARRIBADA IS A NATURAL PHENOMENON THAT CANNOT BE PREDICTED. OUR BOOKING PROCESS INCREASES THE LIKELIHOOD THAT YOU WILL SEE THE TURTLES.

When you book with us, you will pick a tour date and also enter a range of dates for which you are available to see the arribada. You will be added to a waiting list for the full duration of this date range. We will do our best to book your tour on the day requested, weather and turtles permitting.
Once the arribada is confirmed, you will automatically get placed into a tour group and receive confirmation of your tour date and time. In the case that an arribada does not occur within your date range, you can choose to either go on a solitary turtle tour or get a full refund.
